The author has lavishly illustrated four bounces on different colors throughout history. My feeling, hsbingbtead them all, is that anyone gives you the general idea. The illustrations, however, excuse the repetition.

Gorgeous illustrations and just a really cool topic, especially for those interested in both history and art. I gave this as a gift to someone for Christmas and they absolutely loved it.
Beautifully written. Should have read it earlier. Michel's other book "The devil's cloth: History of stip" is also a great book.
This is the most beautiful book! I like every page. Who knew there was so much history associated with a color?
